MSC Open House 2007
The Fulbright Association was present in this year MSC Open House Event. Thanks to the "invitation" of the Kurdish Association who lent us their spot on the event to use it, we were able to show to the rest of the community something about the Fulbright Program at Texas A&M. This was a result of the energy, commitment and motivation of all the member of the Committee. More pictures to come.
"Congratulations to all the team for the terrific presentation today. Now, the Texas A&M Community knows a little more about the Fulbrighters!" - Juan Jose Nativi, Fulbright Association President

A&M Fulbrighters meet former Presidents Bush and Clinton
"I never had a feeling before that someday I will meet the US president. Something good always happens when we don’t expected. That was what happened to me on Friday evening, 10/6/2006 in front of National Conventional Center, Philadelphia. I met not only one but two US presidents at the same time. I was selected by the committee of Liberty Medal Ceremony as representation of the Tsunami Fulbrighters to present the medal to the presidents. Those medals were given to them as appreciation of all their efforts and commitment to help Tsunami and Katrina victims." [see full story]
Fulbright B-B-Q
Our last BBQ was a great success, over the great weather of Texas in the Enclave Apartments we organized a nice BBQ. We were represented from almost every continent in the world and we had a great time, even we went for some swimming after lunch! [see all pictures]
Trip to San Antonio (October 22, 2006)
"Breezy and lazy it was at 5.45 a.m. on October 21, 2006 when we boarded a chartered bus while waiting for the rest of the team before the bus adjourned from Lot 111 to the lovely historical city, San Antonio. Everyone was too sleepy (or rather 6.00 a.m. was just too early) to get to know each other till we stop for a quick breakfast at 8.00 a.m. and there we are with our fullest energy for the day ahead...
